Our warm-up was practicing numbers (spelling and digits), then we practiced our new vocabulary, including words for days, months and classroom objects, repeating and pronouncing them all. Then, we worked on our flashcards with our partners, and then gave each other practice spelling tests. We had a partner-crossword activity, where we had to ask our partners for the answers to half of the crossword. Then, we reviewed and practiced all of our expressions for telling time, using the clocks and completing a practice worksheet with our partners. Following that practice, we went on a trip (DVD!) to South America, with beautiful landscapes. HOMEWORK: 1. draw flashcard words + cut apart/paperclip pile - 2 sheets of words 2. SELF-PORTRAIT: 8 x 11 paper, color, label body parts -put your name on this, and label extra things if you'd like to! 3. COVER YOUR BOOK -you will lose points if you forget next week! 3. Pay the bookkeeper the $8 workbook fee by Monday, por favor. Have a great weekend! Hasta lunes.
