We practiced our vocabulary, corrected and handed in the green crossword puzzle, learned new vocabulary for more body parts, and did a practice art project drawing an extraterrestrial. We took notes on Reflexive Verbs and started writing in all of the new verbs on a verb grid/organizer. Homework: p.96/textbook: write 15 creative sentences. QUIZ FRIDAY: Map of Spanish Speaking countries; identify countries and capitals on a map.

We did a warm-up with vocabulary and then we practiced our new vocabulary on p.96, and corrected the pink worksheet. We worked on a green crossword puzzle with new vocabulary, and then we got a handout and practiced vocabulary for body parts. Homework: a new worksheet based on pages 70-71 vocabulary in the textbook.

We reviewed for our exam, corrected and handed in our homework, and then took the 1B EXAM today. Homework: fill in the new 2A vocabulary list, and make flashcards for 3/30, the Monday when we return.

Today we did a warm-up with all of our expressions from chapter 1B, and then we shared our art projects in groups. We saw our graded quizzes from yesterday. We played a review game with all of the information from chapter 1B, and then we took notes over exactly what's on tomorrow's test. The homework tonight is the worksheet of 20 translation sentences using 1B information. TEST 1B: pages 42 - 68, saber vs. conocer, tan/tanto + como, and Hace...que in questions and answers. You will have to construct sentences with all of these structures, as well as answer questions. Study all of your homework, and all of the pages in the textbook for this chapter.

Warm-up: we practiced our vocabulary, then did five partner conversation/gap activities with our vocabulary. We corrected and handed in the homework and reviewed for our quiz, then took the vocabulary quiz. Then, we worked on a gold packet with comparative expressions with tan/tanto. Homework: art project about Mis actividades y pasatiempos.

Today we practiced our vocabulary and our expressions with "hace...que" to express "how long," in questions and answers. We practiced with our vocabulary picture cards, and did three conversation activities using our structures and vocabulary from chapter 1B. We also corrected and handed in our homework, and we have a worksheet (crossword) due tomorrow. For Wednesday, complete the picture project with the 6 boxes, describing your activities and pastimes. Tomorrow/Tuesday is our vocabulary-spelling quiz with 20 words from page 68, and this Thursday we will have our unit 1B exam over pages 42-68.

Tarea: Q y S al fin de capítulo 5. Para lunes, traiga las respuestas a las preguntas de "qué pasó" al final de Un oso y un amor, que las vamos a repasar. También, habrá una prueba la semana entrante sobre capítulo 5 de Repaso, probablemente el miércoles.

Warm-up: we practiced putting "tan/tanto" sentences together, with our comparative expressions, and then we corrected and handed in the homework. We practiced our vocabulary and did some conversation practice with a new blue question list using this chapter's structures. Warm-up: we practiced conversations, questions and answers aloud with our new partner, then we went over our p. 68 new vocabulary. We practiced discussing our school and extracurricular activities, and we worked with the vocabulary on pages 42-47 in the book. Then, we played Verb Battleship as a review, and we saw 20 min. of Ice Age II en español. Homework: a new worksheet using pages 42-43 vocabulary, AND finish your p.68 flashcards AND have your vocabulary list filled in from yesterday!

Warm-up - we practiced our affirmative and negative expressions, and then did a vocabulary speaking exercise with picture flashcards. Then, we took our 1A exam, and got our new vocabulary list. Warm-up: we practiced our negative expressions, then we corrected and turned in the homework. We practiced several conversation dialogues with situations from our chapter, and then we translated review sentences in groups, corrected that list, and handed it in. NO homework tonight. :-) Study: pages 14 - 40, all of chapter 1A for tomorrow's test.

Warm-up: we practiced writing sentences with 1A vocabulary and verbs, and then we corrected and handed in our homework. Today, we reviewed many grammar concepts: stem-changing verbs, the affirmative and negative verbs and vocabulary. We read 4 articles in the textbook and did several oral conversation partner activities. Then, we practiced with review translation flashcards, in a Pass the Cards activity, to get the verb forms and meanings memorized. Tarea: a new worksheet using 1A concepts. Test on Wednesday over pages 14 - 40, chapter 1A - all verbs, vocabulary grammar and reading selections.
