Hoy repasamos otro examen de práctica para B.I., repasamos la tarea A y B de capítulo 12, aprendimos otros conceptos del pasado del subjuntivo, y vimos las fotos de Juan, de su viaje a Nicaragua con el programa de Amigos.

Hoy hablamos mucho español. After our huge Station Rotation & Fun Conversation activity, we learned new vocabulary from page 127 in the book, did a yellow worksheet, and had more conversation activities with a partner.

Hoy repasamos la tarea y aprendimos las formas y los usos del imperfecto del subjuntivo. También, vimos la segunda parte de Milagro en Roma, y es cierto que ocurrió uno allá (por lo menos en el video!).

We reviewed for the exam, corrected our homework, and did a translation warm-up, then we had our exam 2B. There's a worksheet (blue) to fill in vocabulary from page 127 in our book which is the homework tonight.

español V - lunes, el 28 de abril

Hoy practicamos el subjuntivo, con una práctica en el proyector y con varias actividades orales. Luego, repasamos la tarea, que era una hoja de práctica. Fuimos a la biblioteca para conseguir el nuevo libro, La mordaza. Es una obra de teatro, y leímos parte del primer cuadro en clase hoy. Vimos también la charla cultural de Ibrahín, acerca de diferentes aspectos de México.

TAREA: L y N de páginas 153 - 154 en Repaso
MANANA: vamos a ver el resto de Milagro en Roma, y aprenderemos nuevos usos y formas del subjuntivo.

Hoy practicamos mucho para el examen mañana! First, we did a warm-up review of verbs and vocabulary, then we corrected the homework from the weekend (workbook pages 42 - 44) and handed it in. We did three practice speaking activities with partners, practicing all of the verbs and vocabulary. We also did a listening activity, conversations with situation cards, and verb question review, as well as textbook practice.

TEST TOMORROW: pages 98 - 124, know all of 2B including preterite forms, demonstratives, and vocabulary
HOMEWORK: 1 page of the demonstrative review packet, and the pink homework sheet of review questions over the chapter

español V - viernes, el 25 de abril

Hoy repasamos la tarea ( J & K), y recibimos una nueva hoja de tarea. Vicente presentó su charla acerca del problema de las drogas que pasan por México y llegan a EEUU, y leímos el fin de "El level Pedo." Luego, vimos la mitad o más de Milagro en Roma, una película basada en un cuento de García Márquez. Hay mucho realismo mágico en esta película, con una niña que, aunque muerta, parece viva, y más!

espanol II - viernes, el 25 de abril

We did a warm-up translating sentences using our vocabulary and preterite forms. Then, we corrected and handed in the blue verb practice worksheet (present and past tenses), AND the homework worksheet. Then, we practiced our vocabulary with a partner, using flashcards. After that, we practiced the pink verb sheet forms, and then we had our QUIZ. Then we wrote and performed Shopping and Fashion skits!

Hoy repasamos MUCHO los verbos (p. 110-111 y la hoja rosada) y también el vocabulario (p. 124) porque mañana es la PRUEBA. We corrected and handed in the yellow worksheet, worked with new partners and did lots of textbook and oral practice. Homework tonight is the new worksheet and the blue verb review worksheet we started with our partners.

Hoy repasamos (we went over) los verbos y vocabulario, y la tarea del fin de semana. We took notes on spelling changers, which have special "yo" form spelling (the back of the pink verb sheet). Then, we did a blue crossword puzzle with p. 124 vocabulary, and we have a worksheet packet for homework. We also got a new list of verbs from the whole book, through chapter 2B.

We did the warm up practicing the new vocabulary We went over the A Ver Si Recuerdas worksheet. We got a new seating chart. We learned how to use past tense verbs (el pretérito) and tooks notes on it. We also filled out our new pink verb sheets. We went over new vocabulary on page 124 of the text book and then looked at A Primera Vista on page 102 & 103 in the textbook and practiced the vocabulary. We started to play Loteria with our new preterite verbs.

We did the warm up practicing possessive adjectives. We turned in our 2B vocabulary sheets (tarea). We did oral assessments (SKITS). We created long skits about our daily routine or something having to do with our vocab, verbs, possessive adjectives and ser/estar for chapter 2A. We performed them in class.

Hoy repasamos todos los usos de los participios pasados y el tiempo perfecto, mas los usos de probabilidad, y repasamos la tarea de ayer. Luego vimos muchas dramatizaciones: entrevistas con algunas personas famosas. Enrique Iglesias, Brittney Spears y más nos visitaron hoy. No hay tarea - examen mañana sobre capítulo 9 y los cuentos que hemos leído. Mañana va a haber muchas charlas, pero probablemente no todas.

We did the warm up writing sentences in Spanish. We corrected the Los Reflexivos tarea. We took notes on what will be on the test. We practiced vocabulary by doing conversations with our partners. We played a game that practiced our test questions.

Hoy repasamos la tarea (M y N de capítulo 9 de Repaso), y pasamos por todo el paquete amarillo. Repasamos los argumentos, los personajes, los temas, y las estructuras de los cuentos que hemos leído. Luego hubo unas charlas.

We did the warm up practicing possesive adjectives. We also went over the SER/ESTAR packet that we had for homework. We did activities 7 (pg 79), 9 (pg 81) and 16 (pg 84) in the textbook. We did a listening activity in our WAVA. We also worked on a Reflexive verb packet doing pages 1 and 2 orally.

We did the warm up practicing vocabulary. We went over the homework. We practiced vocabulary in the textbook with our partners (pages 79 and 81). We took the Vocabulary Quiz 2A. We did skits using our vocabulary from page 96 and reflexive verbs.

español V - hoy repasamos la tarea, y aprendimos nuevos usos de los perfectos de probabilidad. Estudiamos más acerca del cuento "Continuidad de los parques," y oímos varias charlas y las discutimos. También, practicamos algunas preguntas usando el perfecto del presente, pretérito, futuro y condicional.

El miércoles que viene, habrá una prueba sobre los cuentos que hemos leído este cuarto - mañana vamos a empezar a repasarlos.

We did the warm up practicing SER and ESTAR. We also corrected the homework. We worked with our partners on a worksheet to practice vocabulary. We did two listening activities in the WAVA. We also worked on SER/ESTAR packets. We will finish the packets on Friday for homework.

Today we did our warm up practicing reflexive verbs. We corrected our workbook homework. We learned about long form of stressed possesive adjectives (mío(a), tuyo(a), suyo(a), nuestro(a), vuestro(a), suyo(a). We watched the Videohistoria and Gramactiva again and did the pages 25-27 in our workbook (WAVA). We also took a practice vocabulary quiz at the end of class.

Feliz día de April Fools!! We did a warm-up with reflexive verbs, then we corrected last night's yellow worksheet. With our jirafa partner, we did a series of vocabulary practice activities, including a spelling test to practice for this Friday's vocab. test over page 96 in the textbook. Then, we took notes over the uses of "ser" and "estar," which mean different types of "to be" or "am, is, are." We then played a racing-recognition-writing game with vocabulary with our partner. Then, we started our homework, which is Workbook/WAVA pages 33 - 34.
