Today we practiced our countries and capitals, and also did a warm-up with vocabulary. We practiced our vocabulary and verbs, and we had our countries and capitals map quiz. We also presented our "poema en diamante" in groups, and some "Stars" presented to the whole class. Muy bonitos! Tarea: a new worksheet packet is due tomorrow.

Hoy repasamos la tarea, y tomamos apuntes sobre el capítulo 3; cómo se forman los verbs con cambios de deletreo y de raíz. Luego, oímos charlas sobre libros, y también planeamos un programa de entrevistas, por alistar a los invitados, trabajando con un compañero. TAREA: HMNO de capítulo 3 de Repaso.

We practiced our vocabulary, handed in our corrected worksheet, and then learned some new verbs and wrote them on our verb sheet. Then, we practiced the verbs, and also practiced our countries and capitals. We watched the book video for chapter 1A, and did a green worksheet packet for comprehension practice about the video. Homework: Diamond shaped poem AND study for countries/capitals quiz!

Today we practiced our new vocabulary, and worked on review and verbs in the book, pages 14-15. Then, we looked at page 13, and we have a "diamond poem" due on Thursday. We took notes and learned about Stem Changing Verbs, and we filled in part of a new verb sheet. Then, we did an interview, asking 4 people a series of questions, and collecting the information. HOMEWORK: pages 5-6 in our Practice Workbook. QUIZ on Thursday: map recognition of countries and matching countries to capitals.

Today we practiced our new vocabulary, from flashcards and the textbook. We also played "desk slap" and practiced pronunciation and spelling. We read a new lesson on what we do in school, and we saw a film about South America's diversity. Homework tonight is a review worksheet with school and classroom vocabulary.

Hoy repasamos la tarea, tuvimos una "tertulia," y oímos cuatro charlas. También, terminamos la película "Valentín." No hay tarea para lunes, pero hay que estudiar las formas y los significados de todos los verbos de capítulo uno para la prueba el martes.

Today we practiced our question words and verbs and "ser" forms, and we corrected and handed in the blue worksheet and the 15 card-translations from yesterday. We reviewed for our quiz and then we took our Para empezar chapter quiz. Homework for Monday is to fill in the new vocabulary list AND make flashcards. ¡Hasta lunes!

Today we did lots of reviewing for tomorrow's test over our Para empezar chapter. We practiced translations and question and answer activities, and we did a listening comprehension activity. We have a blue worksheet for tomorrow. Study all verb forms, spelling of all vocabulary, and adjectives and question words for tomorrow's test.

Today we practiced everything for our quiz which is this Friday, over pages 2-11 in our book. We practiced our verbs, vocabulary and question words, in conversation and writing activities. We did a practice quiz over verb forms, and we played Verb Battleship. We have a homework packet as homework due tomorrow. Study from your study guide, writing the words and verb forms and practicing your homework and reviewing your notes!

Es muy interesante oír de nuestros compañeros y aprender acerca de quiénes somos en esta clase - qué divertido!

Today we worked on our verbs, and we practiced answering and asking questions. We also worked on our capitals and countries, in the book, in a song, and in a map packet. Tonight's homework is: finish the crossword puzzle, finish the map packet (write in the capitals and countries), and also do the -er verb practice worksheet. Next week we will have a quiz over the verbs, the vocabulary lists, and the map packet, in recognition and matching format for the map, and in spelling format for vocabulary and grammar. How to study? Review verb forms on verb sheet! Say them aloud, practice how they're written. Same with vocabulary, and practice with your flashcards. Cover up a country on the map packet and try to name it and its capital.

Today we practiced our vocabulary with our list and flashcards, and we also got a new list of adjectives which we practiced. We read a bit from our book, and we also learned about countries and capitals. We practiced conversation questions with our partner today, and we added more verbs to our verb sheet and played a verb dice game. Homework: new worksheet with verbs to fill in.

Hola! Today we practiced our greetings and our Spanish I vocabulary packet, and we also reviewed how subject pronouns and verbs work. We filled in our verb sheet, and we did some speaking and reading from our book. We also played "lotería," which was verb bingo! Tonight's homework is to make flashcards (Spanish/English) with all of the vocabulary from the vocabulary list.
