Our warm-up was with our new verbs in the past tense. We corrected our homework and our crossword puzzle and handed them in, and then we practiced new verbs on our verb sheet and read the adventure story in the textbook, pages 24-25. We also saw Carlos' poster on Mexico, and then we saw a video about El mundo hispánico and did a worksheet. Quiz Friday: countries and capitals of Spanish-speaking countries. Tonight's homework is a worksheet using the preterite and past tense expressions.

Today our warm-up was about travel and going new places. We practiced A ver si recuerdas in chapter 1 of our textbook, and reviewed the preterite (past) tense. We wrote and practiced forms on a new verb sheet packet, and talked about trips and camping with our partners. We also heard two more "informes de los paises. Our homework is a new vocabulary list over the A ver section of our chapter.

Today we practiced our new vocabulary, and also wrote more verbs on our verb sheet. We practiced all of the new stem-changing verbs with a game and oral and written drills, and we corrected our homework. Tonight's homework is a worksheet over pages 14-15 in our book.

We practiced our new vocabulary, heard more presentations, and worked on pronunciation. We also went over last week's exam, and we have homework tonight; a review packet over the last chapter.

We did a warm-up with questions and answers, then we worked on our new vocabulary. We went over last week's exam, and then we took notes and learned about stem-changing verbs, and we started filling in our new verb sheet. Today we did a warm-up and then presented our poster projects. We will finish the presentations and our listening/note taking packets on Monday or Tuesday. Homework: have new vocabulary filled in for next chapter by Monday.

Today we presented out (p. 14 textbook) posters in groups, and then we interviewed famous people in skits! Period 4 had a field trip to a Japanese presentation. Homework for Monday: fill in all new vocabulary words and ALSO make flashcards. Hasta lunes!

Our warm-up was over possessives and different pronouns - reflexive and indirects. We corrected our workbook pages 3-6 and handed it in, then took our unit test. We also watched a movie about Amigos de las Américas (amigoslink.org), and we got a new vocabulary list to fill in by Monday. Tomorrow: map projects!

We practiced our possessives and our verbs and question words, corrected our homework, and then took our quiz. We have a new vocabulary list to fill in for Monday, and our posters are due tomorrow, p. 14 in our textbook. We also watched a movie about Amigos de las Américas.

Our warm-up was with our new verbs and vocabulary from this chapter, and then we went over our homework and handed it in. We practiced all of our reading and grammar sections from the Para empezar chapter in our book, and we reviewed all of our verbs. We did another listening comprehension exercise in our listening packet, and then we did the last page, using reflexive verbs. Homework: pages 3-6 in Practice Workbook, AND be sure to study for TEST tomorrow/Thursday over pages 2-12. Friday: map/poster presentations

Today was review day for the test tomorrow. We practiced all of our sections of the book, reading aloud and practicing questions and answers and verbs orally and in writing. We did several practice tests over the concepts in tomorrow's quiz, and we corrected our homework and did some listening comprehension exercises. Tomorrow: test over pages 2-13, and FRIDAY: present your "poema" from p.14 in the textbook, as a mini speech and poster in groups. Tonight's homework is a worksheet packet.

We practiced our verbs and checked the verb sheets that were homework. We had several interview activities with our partners, for verb practice and conversational fluency. We also did two listening activities for comprehension practice, and then we played "lotería" with our stem-changing verbs. Tonight's homework is a worksheet, and on MONDAY we will have a quiz over ALL of the verbs on the verb sheet.

We practiced our verbs from our verb sheet, and then we interviewed each other, practicing our nationalities and countries. We finished and handed in the vocabulary practice crossword, and then we did three interview/conversation practice activities with our partner. At the end of class, we played battleship with our new verbs! Homework tonight is a worksheet practicing especially the -ar verbs. Tomorrow's quiz: recognize capitals and countries, and locations of countries where Spanish is spoken.

Our warm-up was over practice with our new verbs, and we took notes on reflexive verbs. We finished the yo forms and meanings of page 3 of our verb grid packet. We practiced several speaking activities and corrected and handed in our homework. Today, we got our new animal partners! Tonight's homework: finish writing all of the forms of the verbs on pages 2-3 of our verb chart. QUIZ on Monday: verbs and forms from verb packet, and answering questions with the vocabulary in our book pages 2-6.

Our warm-up was over our new verbs and vocabulary, and then we added verbs to our verb sheet and practiced all of the forms. We corrected our new vocabulary list which was last night's homework, and we practiced our vocabulary flashcards. We have a quiz this Friday: first /front side of verb sheet, all forms of verbs AND recognize (matching) countries and capitals of Spanish-speaking countries. We did an oral interview with our partners about what we're like, and we did a practice crossword puzzle with our verbs and vocabulary. Tarea: a new worksheet

Today we practiced our verbs and vocabulary, and we interviewed a new partner. We reviewed stem-changing verbs with notes and by filling in the back of our verb sheet, and we read and practiced with activities in our textbook. We corrected and handed in our verb review packet, and then we did two pages of listening activities in a packet, and we handed in the first two sides after we were done. We got our new workbooks, and we are doing pages 1-2 in our workbook as homework tonight. ALSO - please pay for your workbook, cover your textbook, and organize your binder by tomorrow. Gracias!

Today we reviewed vocabulary and verbs, and we took notes over adjective forms, corrected our homework, and did some speaking activities with worksheets and the textbook. We practiced nationalities and countries, and we reviewed seasons and months with songs. We played a verb review game (lotería), and our homework is to fill in a new vocabulary sheet.

We learned new expressions and reviewed information about greetings and activities, using our textbook in the first several pages. We also reviewed geography, countries and capitals.
