Today we practiced our subjunctive forms and uses, corrected our homework, and then took our subjunctive quiz. We practiced and reviewed all of the "mandatos" (command forms), and then we heard more speeches about the health articles. Homework: a vocabulary practice packet over chapter 3 vocabulary.

Today we practiced everything for our 3A exam, including vocabulary and verbs and pronouns. We corrected yesterday's gold card translation sentences, and we corrected our homework and turned it in. We took our 3A exam, and our homework is to write out the vocabulary for chapter 3B on our new vocabulary list.

Today we presented our speeches and article summaries, and discussed health issues. Then, we finished the "command forms" skits, and tomorrow is our test on the subjunctive forms and uses. Tonight's homework: workbook pages 45 - 46

Today we practiced lots of our chapter, 3A, for our exam tomorrow. We practiced our pink verb sheets, and we did some activities from the book. Then, we did our review translation game. Homework is Practice workbook pages 57-59. Study all of chapter 3A tonight: pages 126 - 152.

Today we corrected our homework from Friday, and we presented most of the skits, using command forms. Homework: have your presentation (health-related article, speech, and also summary) ready to present and hand in tomorrow. We also finished La sirenita, y Ariel y Eric vivieron felices para siempre.

Today we practiced our preterite verbs, our la/lo pronouns, and all of the information for the 3A exam this Wednesday. Study everything from pages 126 - 152! Homework: a new worksheet packet.

Español III– jueves, el 9 de diciembre

Today we reviewed how commands and subjunctive forms work, and how they are used, and we practiced skit situations with a partner. Then, we did several reading and conversation and command practice activities in our book, and we have a three-page worksheet packet as homework for tomorrow. We watched 30 min of La sirenita!

Español II – jueves, el 9 de diciembre

Today we practiced our vocabulary, verbs, and pronouns. We also reviewed yesterday’s video program by reading the script in the book, and also finishing a comprehension packet about it. Then, we started our homework, and had time to watch some more of La sirenita! Homework: pages 53 – 56 in our workbook. Next week: 3A exam is Wednesday, December 15, so start studying now!

Today we worked on our TU commands, corrected our homework, and did several oral practice activities. We also worked on our subjunctive uses, played Battleship with the subjunctive, and listened to a romantic song! Homework is a worksheet practicing subjunctive forms. Next week: article + speech is due Tuesday, Wednesday will be a quiz over all subjunctive uses we've learned, and the forms.

Today we learned about direct objects and their pronouns, and we practiced with partners. We worked on our vocabulary, and we watched our book video, about shopping. We had more art time on our houses, and we handed in the workbook homework from yesterday, after correcting it. We have a worksheet tonight, practicing the object pronouns.

Today we learned TU commands, and we also practiced all of our subjunctive uses and forms, and corrected and turned in our pink subjunctive homework. Homework: finish the pink TU command packet. New project: article + summary + mini-speech is due next Tuesday.

Today we learned new past tense verbs, and we practiced them with our partner, from a pink verb sheet. We also practiced all of our vocabulary, with flashcards and a practice vocab. quiz. We repeated and practiced our vocabulary words from out handout, and we talked about who does what chores at our house. We also started our dream house, with at least 5 rooms, and labeling the furniture, etc. HOMEWORK: pages 49-52 in our workbook.

español III - lunes, el 6 de diciembre

Today we worked on more uses of the subjunctive with our partner. We also learned how TWO PRONOUNS IN A ROW work, with Indirect before direct, and we did some drills and practice with that, after taking notes. Homework: using the subjunctive, on a two-sided pink worksheet.

Today we practiced our 3A vocabulary, and we learned about chores. We practiced repeating the words, we practiced with flashcards, and we did charades acting out the words. We learned how to say what we do around the house, and the house vocabulary. Homework: a vocabulary list using page 126 vocabulary.

Today we had FOOD DAY!!! We cooked quesadillas, chocolate caliente, buñuelos, made salsa, guacamole, y más!!!

Today we took notes and learned about "indirect" objects and their pronouns, and we did some practice drills. We corrected our gold packet, and our homework tonight (due on Monday) is building more sentences and forms with the subjunctive. FOOD DAY is mañana!

Today we practiced for our 2B exam, corrected our homework, and then we took the exam. Homework for Monday: fill in the vocabulary list for 3A, and also make flashcards. Tomorrow is our cooking culture day!

Today we practiced our subjunctive forms, and we corrected our yellow past-tense packet. We read and learned about nutrition and good health habits, and we practiced our chapter 3 information. We took notes and practiced Direct Object pronouns, and we also did a practice packet on the subjunctive - first three pages are our homework.

Today we practiced for tomorrow's exam: we practiced our verbs and vocabulary, corrected our review packet, and did a review game with translations. We also did listening comprehension, and tonight's homework is Practice Workbook pages 47-48. Study all of chapter 2B!
