Mañana: in-class "writing assessment" to write a page-long essay. This is an "on-demand" in-class writing assignment, which will take about 60 minutes of class to do. OKAY to use dictionaries.

Today we practiced our verbs and vocabulary, and then we had our quiz. We did an interview activity using the past tense, and we also did some listening comprehension practice in our blue packet. HOMEWORK: PW 47-48 EXAM next Tuesday over all of chapter 2B, pages 98 - 124

Today we practiced all of our preterite verbs on our pink verb sheet, and we got a new answer key for that verb sheet. We also practiced all of our p.124 vocabulary. QUIZ: THURSDAY this week, over spelling all of the words AND the preterite verb forms. Homework: a new worksheet using the past tense.

Today we learned the past tense for: el pretérito. We practiced conjugating -ar verbs on the pink verb sheet.

Today we practiced pronunciation of all of our new vocabulary on page 124, and we finished signing up for FOOD DAY this Friday! We also learned new vocabulary on page 98. Then, we practiced all of our numbers, spelling and pronunciation, up to the thousands! We played a huge dice game, with about 13 rounds, practicing and adding up our scores. HOMEWORK: a numbers worksheet AND a yellow worksheet, practicing textbook pages 98-99. BRING YOUR book tomorrow/ we use it every day! :-)
