Today we practiced our imperfect verbs, practiced our 4A vocabulary, and watched our video that goes with the book. We did some reading aloud and talking in the past tense, translated the video story, and answered questions about it. We also worked on our blue crossword that goes with chapter 4A. For tomorrow: PW 73-76 AND finish the blue crossword puzzle. Period 3 - finish your family tree; it can be brief.

We did a yellow practice packet and a translation activity, and we did some oral practice. Tonight's homework is pages 64-67 in our workbook. STUDY for the test tomorrow!

We reviewed for our 3A exam - study pages 126 -152, including the verbs (irregular preterite) on page 110 and on our pink verb sheet, and all of our vocabulary and the direct object pronouns. NO HOMEWORK!!! You do need to know the meanings and the forms of the verbs in the preterite.

Hoy leímos más de Cuadro Uno de La mordaza, y también presentamos más de las escenas dramáticas de ayer. Oímos un par de charlas, y corregimos la tarea, y aprendimos el "pasado del subjuntivo." También, Jorge Iglesias contribuyó una pequeña lección acerca de CINCO DE MAYO, qué bueno!

RESUMEN DE CUADRO UNO HASTA AHORA: Isaías es cruel y despótico y dice cosas horribles acerca de todos. Antonia es ciega y no reconoce lo cruel que es su esposo. Juan no dice mucho, su esposa Luisa es más fuerte que él, y Jandro se acuesta temprano. Teo llega a casa tarde, borracho, y estamos ahora en la página 142.

Today we reviewed everything in chapter 2B for our exam tomorrow. Study your verbs (pages 110 and 111 and your pink verb sheet with the preterite), your vocabulary (spelling of all words on page 124), and all material between pages 98 - 124, as well as your homework and worksheets. We do have a worksheet tonight, and the test has lots of spelling, so practice WRITING all of you words and verb forms.
