Today we reviewed our Subjunctive sentences, and then we practiced our chapter 3 vocabulary. We did some textbook reading at the beginning of chapter 3, and we practiced different nutrition vocabulary. Homework: G H I in our yellow packet over the two past tenses!

Today we practiced our past tense verbs, and we did conversation and writing practice from our book. We also practiced all of the information from the chapter, with flashcards and a review packet. Homework: another review packet, and the exam over chapter 2B is this Thursday - the review packets shows what to study! :-)

Today we learned about THE SUBJUNCTIVE, and we learned its forms and how it works. We took notes, made sentences, and had discussions about the grammar and the structure and the verb forms. We also organized our food day for this Friday! HOMEWORK: 10 sentences using the subjunctive, using today's class notes and our own brains!

Today we practiced and reviewed our past tense verbs, and we interviewed people with past -tense questions. We also did prepared conversations about shopping, and we corrected and handed in our homework. Homework: pages 43-46 in workbook, exam over chapter 2B is this Thursday.

Today we practiced our past tenses and our vocabulary and FOOD WORDS! We corrected our homework over our Ud. Command forms, and then we made Thanksgiving cards, and we also have an extra credit packet about Thanksgiving. We watched a little of "La sirenita." ¡Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias!

We have a practice packet with Thanksgiving packet for EXTRA CREDIT for the weekend, and we also made Thanksgiving cards for El Día de Acción de Gracias. We watched a little bit of La sirenita. Today we learned "UD" commands and we have a gold packet to do as homework, and we also practiced all of our pronouns. WE corrected and handed in our homework packet, and we reviewed body parts and food! We also looked at last week's exam.

Today we reviewed all of our art, looked at two Las Meninas, and did a listening practice exercise, and then took our test over chapter 2. We have a vocabulary list to fill in for tomorrow.

Today we practiced our vocabulary, sang two songs, and learned more verbs in the PAST tense on our pink verb sheet. Then, we watched our video and re-read and translated it. Today we practiced some "yo" irregular verbs in the present tense, reviewed our vocabulary, and reviewed our numbers. Then, we learned some new Preterite (past tense) verbs and wrote them on our new PINK verb sheet (pink = past tense), and then we played Lotería with our new verbs. TAREA: workbook pages 41 - 42

Today we read about Goya, and saw some of his art, and reviewed and learned about Diego Rivera as well. We practiced chapter 2 vocabulary and grammar, especially the two past tenses and their special uses. We reviewed all of our artists, and we did a listening comprehension exercises. HOMEWORK: finish the review packet. EXAM, CHAPTER 2: this Thursday

Today we practiced our vocabulary, and then we learned how to say "this, these, that and those" in Spanish. We took notes and practiced the forms, and then we reviewed all of the uses. We practiced our numbers a lot, including numbers into the thousands, with a dice game, adding up our rolls with special rules. HOMEWORK: pages 38 - 40 in our workbook.

Today we worked on all of our new 2B vocabulary, read things in the book, and worked on our flashcards. We saw last week's test and also our grades from 1st quarter. Then, we practiced all of our numbers, and our homework is a yellow worksheet practicing everything on pages 98 - 99 in our book.

Today we practiced our vocabulary, corrected our homework (workbook pages), and then we had our vocabulary quiz. After that, we wrote and presented skits where we talked, in the past tense, about a show we just saw. Homework: finish the new worksheet about the Latin Grammys!

Today we practiced all of our 2A chapter information, in the book and with oral review. We also corrected yesterday's review game sentences, and then we took our 2A chapter test. Homework: Finish filling in the words for the new chapter (2B), and also make your flashcards, for MONDAY. Hasta lunes!

Today we started our "conferencia" over Joan Miró, we practiced and read a comprehension section of our chapter, and we did three practice activities, orally and in writing. Hoimework: pages 29 -30, and quiz tomorrow over the 2nd half of the vocabulary list in our chapter 2.

Today we practiced everything in our chapter 2A for our test tomorrow, pages 70 - 97. We practiced ser/estar, mío, tuyo, and all the reflexive verbs and vocabulary. Homework: a blue worksheet practicing the reflexive verbs. Study the whole chapter, and review all of your homework, notes, and all handouts from this chapter, including our verb sheet. Study hard - it's the end of the quarter tomorrow, and final transcripted grades will happen.

Today we practiced all of our p.96 vocabulary words, and we took our chapter vocabulary quiz. We also have a vocabulary practice packet over chapter 2A vocabulary which is our homework over the weekend. Next Tuesday: chapter test, including information from pages 70 - 96 in our book.

Today we learned about Fernando Botero, and we also practiced our vocabulary and took our quiz over the first half of the vocabulary list. Next Tuesday: 2nd half! Homework tonight: a worksheet packet. We discussed Naturaleza muerta de Fernando Botero, with his weird, wide shapes!
