Warm-up: we practiced reflexive verbs, and then worked on a worksheet with textbook information from page 98-99. We went over and corrected all answers on yesterday's exam, and discussed more effective ways to prepare for tests in this course. How to memorize? Flashcards, re-copying lists, studying a little each day, reviewing every day's new information, going over all course material several days before the test, being clear about what's covered on each test. Homework: a worksheet over the same new words on the blue worksheet we did in class. Last night's homework was a new vocabulary list AND flashcards; you have ONE more day to do that for the 20 points for both, or an additional 10 if you didn't do flashcards yet.

Warm-up: we reviewed subject pronouns and 2A vocabulary, then we practiced our new chapter 2B vocabulary, and added two verbs to our verb sheets. We played Bingo with the verbs, practicing all of the forms we've learned, and then we played two games with the new vocabulary and flashcards. We went over yesterday's exam and corrected our mistakes, and talked about study habits and skills. NOTES: we wrote a list of new prepositions for location. Homework: pages 40, 41 and 42 in our workbook.

We took the verb and vocabulary quiz for chapter 2A, and then we wrote and performed skits about our daily routine. Tonight's homework is a worksheet that we picked up after the quiz. We practiced verbs with a Tic-tac-toe game with partners, and then we had our verb quiz. We found out our 1st quarter grades, and we practiced sentence translation flashcards with partners, rotating the piles and also who the teacher was. Warm-up: Interview questions with rotating partners! Then, we drew my two extra terrestrial friends, and then corrected homework. We worked with partners on a pair conversation activity with mío, tuyo, etc., and then we worked on a gold packet about reflexive verbs and had grade conferences about 1st quarter grades. Homework: the new packet, yellow, reviewing previous information up to now in the course.

Today we reviewed our reflexive verbs, and practiced them in a rap with missing words, filling in words after listening several times. We corrected and handed in last night's homework, and interviewed our partners with a blue/white partner interview activity about what time we do different things each day in our daily routine. Then, we played battleship with reflexive verbs, and saw the rest of the activity and hobby skits. Homework: workbook pages 31-32.

Warm-up: we reviewed our -ar verb endings, and also subject pronouns replacing names. We corrected our homework, and worked with a new partner with our vocabulary and our picture flashcards, playing Desk Slap and Go Fish. We surveyed 4 classmates about our classes and schedules and teachers, and we learned new -er and -ir verbs, which we wrote on our verb sheet. We reviewed our video story with a blue worksheet, answering questions about the information in the video. Our homework is a gold worksheet, practicing today's new verbs. NEXT WEEK: quiz on Friday over all -ar verbs.

We practiced our reflexive verbs and vocabulary today. We worked on p. 96 vocabulary and all of the reflexive verbs, corrected our homework, and took notes on the forms and uses of SER/ESTAR. Tonight's homework is a worksheet practicing all of those uses and also the reflexive verb forms.

We sat with a new partner and worked on verbs from our verb sheet: drilling aloud, writing forms, working with the cubes on different forms, and then playing Battleship. We corrected the homework, and then we practiced oral comprehension and spelling with a partner speaking and writing activity. We watched the book video for this chapter, including the grammar lesson, and then we read page 96 aloud and translated it, and then answered comprehension questions.
