Today we practiced all of our commands, and we had an ORAL ASSESSMENT (20 oral points) using all of the commands and "giving directions" words. We corrected last night's homework packet, and we handed it in. HOMEWORK: pages 67-69 in our workbook. 3B EXAM is next WEdnesday.

Today we practiced our directions and commands and vocabulary, and we made cities and sent cars to different parts of the city!! Tonight's homework is a worksheet reviewing 3B, and we have our test next Wednesday over the chapter. Don't forget your LIBRO de español tomorrow. :-)

Hoy oímos tres charlas, discutimos La Machuca, y practicamos los usos de capítulo 12. PRUEBA mañana: los usos y las formas del subjuntivo (presente y pasado), y las cláusulas de "si." También, leímos Cuadro Tres de La mordaza, y tenemos una hoja de tarea acerca del cuadro como tarea esta noche.

Today we practiced our vocabulary and "tú" commands, and we practiced the progressive forms. We did three conversation activities, and we did two listening activities and watched a film that used "tener" and told a story about Paco at the beach. Homework: a blue worksheet packet. TEST: chapter 3B, next Wednesday/know command forms and all vocabulary.

Today we learned TU commands, took notes, practiced, and gave and followed directions around Tigard, THS and on a map in our book. We watched the book video, and we practiced our vocabulary and did a pink crossword puzzle. HOMEWORK: pages 62-63 AND the crossword puzzle.

Today we worked on our new vocabulary from page 180, and we reviewed and practiced our Ud. Commands, and filled in a practice (yellow) packet. Then, we made command posters, using these new forms. After that, we played BINGO! We also handed in our corrected yellow worksheet. HOMEWORK: pages 60-61 in our workbook, AND the first page of the white packet we started yesterday.

Hoy repasamos la tarea de Cuadro Dos, y vimos la exhibición de arte en la biblioteca. También, repasamos las formas del pasado del subjuntivo, y tuvimos una prueba sobre las formas de capítulo 12. Today we practiced our new vocabulary, and we went over yesterday's exam. We also practiced "command" forms, and took notes. We saw the library art exhibit, and then we wrote a paragraph about the art we saw, in Spanish! Homework: new yellow worksheet.

Today we practiced all of our grammar and verbs and vocabulary for the 3A chapter test tomorrow. Study pages 125 - 152, including the irregular preterite forms, all vocabulary, and the uses of the direct object pronouns. We did a practice translation activity, and we also did flashcard review of pronoun sentences. Homework: finish the worksheet we started in class. Study hard for your exam!

Today we practiced our verbs, corrected our pink packet, and we gave mini speeches about our House plans (La casa de mis sueños.) Then we wrote Silly Skits, with ridiculous chores, practicing our 3A vocabulary and the past tense. Homework for Monday: pages 55-57, AND 3A exam is next Wednesday!

Today we learned about direct object pronouns (me, him, her, it, them) and we practiced them. We also learned some more irregular preterite verbs and practiced them, and we watched a movie about City vocabulary. We played Battleship with preterite verbs, and we corrected and handed in last night's homework, the yellow preterite verb worksheet. For tomorrow, bring your house plans! La casa de mis sueños: at least 5 rooms, at least 20 labeled parts to your house. EXAM 3A is next Wednesday, over pages 126 - 152.

Today we worked really hard on our vocabulary, and we wrote more verbs on our pink verb sheet. We did an in-class practice packet (pink) on irregular preterite verbs, and we played the dice game to practice their forms. We also re-read our video story and did a green comprehension packet, and we also did two oral exercises in our book for lots of oral participation points! Homework: a new yellow worksheet. DUE FRIDAY: "Mi casa de sueños," including at least 5 rooms and 20 labels about furniture and aspects of the house. OK to add several floors (pisos) or garden around house. Color would be muy hermoso!

Today we practiced our p.152 vocabulary and our house vocabulary. We learned several more irregular preterite verbs and wrote them on our verb sheet, and then we practiced some questions and answers with past tense verbs, on a yellow interview sheet. We practiced our house vocabulary with an art and speaking project, matching our partner's furniture organization. We watched our book video, and we practiced the vocabulary on page 130-131 in our book. Tonight's homework is pages 53 - 54 in our workbook, AND our Casa de mis sueños is due on Friday.

Today we practiced our vocabulary, and we learned some new IRREGULAR verbs in the preterite and wrote them on our new pink verb list. We also learned new house vocabulary, and we practiced conversations about shopping, with ear-mouth scripts. Homework: pages 51-52 in our workbook.

We learned house vocabulary, did a crossword puzzle, and also practiced our homework and telling time from yesterday. We also looked at our 2B exam from Tuesday. Our homework is pages 49-50 in our workbook.

Today we learned new vocabulary, practicing conversations about chores with the vocabulary on page 126 in our book. We also practiced p. 152 pronunciation and vocabulary meanings, and we reviewed how to tell time with clocks and notes. We have two worksheets to complete for tomorrow: a new list of vocabulary from page 126, and the clock side of the yellow chores worksheet. We are starting chapter 3A, which means it's time to preview the material in this chapter; get ahead so that the verb and vocabulary quizzes won't take you by surprise!

Today we practiced for our 2B exam tomorrow, and we went over our review packet. We read about "jeans" y vaqueros, and we also did a review packet. We practiced with a rotating flashcard review game, and then we practiced all of our 2B structures in translation sentences. HOMEWORK: pages 46, 47, 48 in our workbook. EXAM: pages 99-125 in our book - it will have listening, writing, spelling and reading. Study hard!!
