Today we reviewed our verbs and vocabulary, and corrected and handed in the homework. Then, we looked at yesterday's test, and corrected mistakes. We got a new pink review/practice packet over Demonstratives, and we practiced in study groups, as well as reading and practicing in pairs and as a class with exercises in our textbook. Then, we placed Preterite Verb Battleship, and the homework is to finish the pink packet. EXAM 2B is next Monday, over the whole chapter.

We practiced our verbs, corrected and handed in the homework, did two speaking activities with the past tense, and then we watched our book video and Gramactiva. Then, we saw 15 minutes of Buscando a Nemo. TAREA: new verb worksheet QUIZ ON MONDAY over p.124 spelling vocabulary (English to Spanish) AND all preterite verb forms from the pink verb sheet.

We had a guest speaker today, Hannah Smith, who talked about the Amigos program, and about the projects she participated in two years ago as a volunteer. She showed us slides of Uruguay and of her family there, and talked about the challenges and rewards from her experience. We practiced our vocabulary with partners, and then we did conversation practice with scripts, using our shopping vocabulary and the past tense. We corrected and handed in our gold crossword and last night's worksheet, PW 45-46. We practiced our past tense verbs, and took notes on the uses of the past tense and the expressions that use the "preterite" tense in Spanish (ayer, anoche, el verano pasado, etc). Then, we started a new worksheet using the preterite forms, and we saw 15-20 minutes of Buscando a Nemo.

We corrected and handed in our homework, and did a lot of practice activities with our vocabulary. Then, we worked on our new past tense verb sheet, adding -er and -ir verbs, and then we practiced those. We identified and labelled body parts on Anatomy Volnteers, and took pictures! Then, we practiced a game of Password, giving clues about new vocabuary to our partners. Homework tonight is a new worksheet working with our p. 124 vocabulary list.

Today we reviewed our numbers and practiced the vocabulary on pages 98-99, then we learned some new verbs (the past tense/pretérito) and wrote verbs on our new verb-organizer sheet. We placed a dice game in groups, practicing our numbers, and we got a new worksheet as homework for tonight.

We corrected our homework and handed it in, and we sang Heads and Shoulders! Then, we practiced our vocabulary and also our verbs, with 5 different speaking, reading and conversation activities. We did some listening comprehension practice from our workbook, and we got a worksheet as tonight's homework. Exam over chapter 2A will be this Thursday.

Today we practiced our reflexive verbs, and took notes about SER/ESTAR and Mio, tuyo, etc. uses of stressed possessive adjectives. Then, we practiced with review flashcards using all of our expressions in chapter 2A. Exam over chapter (pages 71-96) is this Thursday, and homework is a new worksheet practicing all of our new information from today.

Warm-up: we practiced putting together TWO verbs with reflexive verbs, and then we corrected our yellow worksheet. We practiced for the map quiz and then took it (countries and capitals), and then we played Battleship with our reflexive verbs, and watched a bit of Nemo! Today we worked on reviewing the face vocabulary, then we added some new verbs to our verb sheet. We got a new list of "animal partners," and then we practiced verbs and acting them out with our new partner today. We did some reading, reviewing the video story from yesterday's viewing of the chapter video, then we translated the script, and then we wrote out answers in our workbook for pages 25-27 and turned in pages 25-26. We did a listening activity on p. 28, and will finish tomorrow. Tonight's homework is a yellow worksheet, and there is a MAP QUIZ tomorrow, identifying the countries and capitals of Spanish-speaking countries.

Warm-up: we practiced our new reflexive verbs and shared our sentences/homework. We wrote in the rest of the front side of the new verb sheet, and practiced the forms, and then played Lotería with those verbs. Then, we practiced our vocabulary from page 96 and then played Circle The Word. We watched our chapter video story, and we have a worksheet which is tonight's homework. MAP QUIZ this Friday: identify the countries and capitals of all of the Spanish-speaking countries.
